Introduction

The DST-iTBI GGV is a catalytic initiative fostering entrepreneurship and technological innovation at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (GGV). Launched in 2021 under the NIDHI program by DST, Government of India, it provides infrastructure, mentorship, and funding support to early-stage startups.

Objectives
  • Support early-stage startups and innovators with infrastructure, mentorship, and funding.
  • Bridge the gap between academia and application through technology commercialization.
  • Develop an inclusive, sustainable, and vibrant innovation ecosystem.
  • Empower regional entrepreneurs and address local challenges.
  • Align startup activities with national missions like Atmanirbhar Bharat.

  • Pre-incubation, Incubation, and Virtual Incubation programs.
  • Mentorship from domain experts, entrepreneurs, and academics.
  • Funding support including Ignition Grant and investor connects.
  • Infrastructure: Co-working spaces, Fab Labs, VC rooms, Wi-Fi, prototyping facilities.
  • Workshops, Startup Conclaves, and Bootcamps on business models, IP, and tech trends.
  • Legal and compliance assistance, including registration, tax, and IP filings.
  • Market access through industry linkages and startup showcases.
