MoU between Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (GGV) India and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia Both

GGV and UTAR have entered a collaboration with an MoU for promoting academic activities n their Institutions with mutual cooperation. An interactive introductory ceremony was held online on 07th September 2021 in which Vice Chancellor of GGV Prof Alok Kumar Chakrawal and the President UTAR Prof Ewe Hong Tat highlighted the salient features of the project for enhancement of academic growth in both institutions. In the meeting, the Coordinator at GGV Prof Amit Saxena, the Director, Division of Community and International Networking, UTAR , Director, Division of Community and International Networking, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Dr Lai Soon, Dr. Lai Soon Onn, the Deans of both institutions were also present.

Brief detail of the event
The interaction meeting was organized by the CSIT department, GGV Bilaspur on 22nd October 2021 in online mode. At the outset of the meeting, Prof. A.K. Saxena (HoD, Department of CSIT, GGV Bilaspur India) and Dr. Ng Oon-Ee (Research Center Chairman, The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Computing Applications) shared information about their respective Departments/ Centers in their Universities and research activities carried over there. All other associated faculty members of both the organizations briefly introduced themselves and mentioned their area of interest in research. The members from both the Universities agreed to collaborate with each others in their areas of interests. Further all member participants agreed to carry out research discussions, joint publications and all research based activities.
