Located near the University Computer Centre, the Health centre caters to the needs of the students, residents of the campus and employees of the University. One Medical Officer, along with assisting staff is posted at the Centre. From time to time, specialists doctors from Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) visit the Health Centre. It is proposed to have the Health Centre shifted to a separate building in near future. More than 7174 patients were examined and treated at the Health Centre during 2010-11. The Health Centre has an Electrocardiography (ECG) machine and a Chemical Blood Analyzer for carrying out various blood tests. The Health Centre also provides twenty four hours ambulance services, emergency services also available with 24 hours doctors on call. The Centre also has limited in-patient facility. A 24 hours ambulance facility has been provided by the Health Centre.
